With valuable insights gathered from our city-wide survey, we now transition into an exciting phase – the flag design competition. Having listened to the voices of Clevelanders, we're ready to invite artists, designers and community members to translate those sentiments into vibrant, meaningful flag designs.

Our flag design competition is a celebration of creativity and community engagement. Artists, designers, and residents alike are encouraged to participate, offering their unique perspectives on what makes Cleveland special.

As submissions flood in, our dedicated committee of local leaders, design experts, and community representatives takes on the task of carefully reviewing each entry. Their expertise ensures that every design considered truly reflects the essence of Cleveland.

Following the committee's deliberations, a selection of top flag designs as well as Cleveland’s current flag will be presented to the public for a democratic vote. Clevelanders will have the opportunity to weigh in and help choose the flag that best represents their city.
